Work should start in July and finish "early in 2020".
Work to replace Toll Bar roundabout in Grimsby with traffic lights is now expected to begin in late July.
The Council has revealed the work will take around 6 months and should be completed "early in 2020."
Discussions will now take place on how to minimise disruption.
Meanwhile the first stage of the plans starts today.
It'll take a week for the survey work to be carried out.
Temporary lights will be put up and the work will take place between 8 oclock at night and 6 oclock in the morning.
