NE Lincs headteachers say GCSEs are tough but can benefit students

It follows changes to the exams

The new GCSE exams are difficult but can work for students that's the message from a number of head teachers in North East Lincolnshire.

The pass rate increased across the country as pupils picked up their results yesterday, but some have claimed the changes made to the exams aren't working for everyone.

But Caroline Yates principal of Grimsby's Tollbar Academy says that the new system has benefits.
