Lambing season in Lincolnshire "better than last year"

Sheep farmers were affected by last years Beast from the East

You've probably noticed all the new born lambs in fields across Lincolnshire and Newark.

The lambing season is drawing to a close and the milder winter and spring has helped with numbers this year...nothing like last seasons beast from the east.

For one Lincolnshire teenager it's proved an especially busy time. At 13, Jack Bowles has a flock of fifty sheep near Upton.

That means juggling school life with farming life and feeding the lambs every 3  hours even at night:
