Humberside police federation chairman calls for legal action on pay award

Members are unhappy about a 2 per cent rise

The chairman of the Humberside Police Federation's backing calls for legal action against the Government over their 2 per cent pay rise.

Pete Musgrave is angry ministers didn't increase salaries by the 3 per cent recommended by an independent review.

The government says the increase which officers received was the highest consolidated pay award.
