Exhibition in Grimsby tells of YMCA's past and future

Schools and community groups will see it first with the public getting their chance on Thursday

An exhibition begins today in Grimsby telling the history of the YMCA and also revealing more about plans to relocate to Freeman Street.

The charity is celebrating it's 175th anniversary and chose the town because the local branch was one of the first in the country.

Schools and community groups will see it first at the Central Hall with the public getting their chance on Thursday.

Sally Meech from the Grimsby YMCA says they're hoping the new Freeman Street site can be open from the summer of 2021.
