25 million pound plans have been unveiled to transform the centre of Grimsby.

It includes a new cinema, plans for pubs and food outlets.

A public-private partnership will see a joint bid between the council and Freshney Place shopping centre to secure Government funding.

If successful it'll see the Victoria Street area redeveloped including major improvements to the market hall created, a public square and new leisure opportunities.

If it gets the go ahead it's hoped it will particularly boost the night time economy with the cinema expected to be a major draw.
