Friday, May 3rd
Spirit of the Marsh Festival promises to be bigger and better this year.
Taking place from Friday 3rd to Monday 6th May, the Festival will showcase the wealth of talent, knowledge and energy emanating from the seemingly sleepy Marsh villages with support from an array of artists from all over the UK.
A wealth of entertainment is planned, including music from over 22 bands and vocalists, dancing, talks, workshops, and a return of Grimsby's sensational Sambalada from last year!
With local produce stalls, Craft Workshops, a Magician to amaze you, Healing Therapies to try, Children;s activities and the Heritage Centre, there will be something for the whole family.
A craft fare in the main tent with over 30 stall holders will run on Monday with free entry to the public 10am till 4pm and there’ll be plenty of refreshments on offer, including a beer tent to Quench the Thirst and saturday will see the May Queen chosen and crowned.
