Jane Sanderson

Jane was born and bred in Charlton, South East London, very close to Charlton FC (The Valley).  In fact her great grandfather helped to build the original Charlton Football Stadium!

Following a career in teaching, she went to college to study Astrology (yes, really!) and this led her to a local radio station(Time Radio and Millennium Radio) where Jane presented an Astrology hour.  During that time, she was given the opportunity to be a side kick on the breakfast show, which was quite a learning curve!

Jane moved to Lincolnshire 17 years ago and now considers this to be her home.  She lives with her 2 daughters, 2 dogs and various guinea pigs (I think its safe to say she's an animal lover).

As well as radio, Jane is an avid Amateur Dramatics fan and won “Best Supporting Actress” at the Skegness Drama Festival in 2006 for “Steel Magnolias”.

Jane's love of radio work has led her to local and community radio in Lincolnshire and she can’t think of a better way to spend her time than talking to people and playing music! Her taste in music has been described as “eclectic” – She doesn't have favourite bands.  To Jane, a good tune is a good tune.

Jane is so excited at being part of the Compass FM team and hopes to be able to say “hello” to you in person at some point.
