NHS winter crisis: Pressure continues at Grimsby Hospital

NHS winter pressures are continuing to hit North East Lincolnshire - At the end of last week over 90% of beds at Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole were occupied.

It reflects the national trend which is also well above the 85% target considered safe.

There has also been an increase in the number of patients turning up in ambulances at our local hospitals who have to wait more than an hour for treatment.

52 people faced delays of over 60 minutes last week at hospitals run by the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole trust - up from 19 in the week before that.
