96.4 Compass FM is the local radio station for Grimsby and North East Lincolnshire, and each local commercial radio station in the UK has requirements in respect of its music and local content, such as news, speech levels etc. These requirements are set out in the station "Format", a document issued by Ofcom, the UK’s radio regulator.
This Public File contains details of the elements that Ofcom regulate, such as music tracks, local news etc. It is intended to give you a better understanding of our output and what we are doing for our local community. It is relevant only to "96.4 Compass FM” covering Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Immingham. You can also listen to us online 24 hours a day.

Operational Information
Transmission: 96.4 Compass FM is available across North East Lincolnshire, you can also listen to us online.
Local production: Compass FM is locally produced 24 hours a day. Some of Compass FM's daytime programmes are presented "live assist" or "automated".
News Bulletin Schedule
Local News bulletins are broadcast Monday to Friday at 0700 - 1800, and with sport at 0700, 0800, 1700 and 1800. Headlines at 0730 & 0830. At relevant times additional news bulletins may be broadcast. At weekends, local bulletins are broadcast from 0800 - 1200. Bulletins at all other times are syndicated and provided by IRN. Travel
Local travel information is broadcast half-hourly Monday to Friday between 0615 - 0900 and 1445 - 1800. Plus hourly at weekends between 0815 - 1115, with additional updates throughout the day as and when necessary.

How to complain
Compass FM is part of the Lincs FM Group and operates a complaints procedure which refers all complaints to the Group Director of Programming for investigation and response.
