The first Sunday of the month we broadcast a fully produced audio play at 7pm.
We're currently in the Lady Molly of Scotland Yard series from America. This month you'll hear A Day's Folly written by Barness Orczy; adapted for radio by Joseph McGuire. Lady Molly and Mary Granard are faced with a strange case where a women is almost assaulted in resort community. In this story Lady Molly creates a disguise.
We've been working in partnership with KSVR-FM (a non-commercial radio station licensed to the Board of Trustees of Skagit Valley College, funded with a combination of support from the Associated Students of S.V.C. and Student Services of S.V.C., with staffing support from Day-Academic Department and Student Life Office.) KSVR is involved in training young people at college, and community volunteers, in producing radio programs, and providing opportunities for airtime. KSVR sponsors legal information workshops for the immigrant community regarding naturalization and immigration paperwork. KSVR is one of only several full-power college and community in the Northwest to offer programming from the Pacifica Foundation radio network, with KSVR planning to celebrate its 10 year anniversary with Pacifica in 2007.
We shall be returning to home produced production in the new year.
